Most records a citizen or company can request are public. Fire reports and inspection reports are among those things. Reports that are not public, however, while many, specifically include EMS reports. If you have a need for an EMS report, its release is covered by federal HIPAA laws.
HIPAA rules are complex and penalties for violation are severe. Knowing this, please understand that there may be more information we require in order to release an EMS incident report. This may include authorizations and/or releases as required by law. Also understand that certain exemptions, such as criminal investigations and public health emergencies may allow us to release information without the patient's authorization. Fire reports, excluding investigation reports on open fire cases
Fire safety inspection (business, adoption, or foster care)
Fire safety inspection (plan review, construction, or occupancy)
EMS reports (as allowable by law)
Burning Permits or other services
We do not provide pool filling services.
We also do not provide hospital transfer or return-home services.
